This healthy vegan granola can be made super easily and replace the packaged granola in your pantry that is filled with added sugar and words you cant even pronounce!
You need:
2 cups of organic oatmeal
1 cup of pecan nuts
1 cup of shaved almonds
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
1/4 cup hemp seed
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tbsp of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Maple syrup
1/2 cup of coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 350F or 180C. Mix ingredients together in a large bowl. You can do this with your hands just wash carefully beforehand! Cover a baking sheet with wax paper and spread the granola out evenly on the sheet. Bake for 20 min or until crispy and golden.
The nuts can be changed to fit your personal preference (sometimes we like to add hazelnut) and you can take out any seed or nut easily if you don't have it at home. Maple syrup can also be replaced with honey if you are not vegan and prefer it.
Store in a large mason jar or container. Use this to top yogurt or milk and enjoy!!
